Basic Exam Information:

The exam is produced by NCEES and its base cost is $225. However, administration of the exam is slightly different for each state.

Prior to 2014 the exam was given only on the last Saturday in April and the last Saturday in October. It was a greuling 10 hour day, start to finish. In 2014, the exam has been updated to a computer based format given mulitple times per year.  NCEES provides an examinee guide full of important information about taking the exam (registration and arrival procedures, what to bring, etc.) as well as a YouTube channel with videos demonstrating the computer based testing system. Check out the links below for both of these resources.
